Engineering & High-Volume Capabilities

CAD, DFM and DfAM, rapid iteration and a path to injection molding when volumes justify it.

CAD, design for manufacturing, design for additive, rapid iteration and a planned path to injection molding when volumes justify it.

Engineering

  • Parametric CAD from a sketch, a sample part or a list of requirements; build to your print or we design it
  • Design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for additive manufacturing (DfAM), led by an automotive plastics and injection molding technical specialist with a focus on insert molding
  • Reverse engineering of discontinued or damaged parts; first-article inspection; tolerance and fit verification
  • Embedded identification, inserts and branding features designed in, not added after

Production

  • 70-printer FDM farm on a LAN production server: batch scheduling, SKU-level tracking, job instruction books, quality alerts
  • Engineering materials on heated-chamber machines; PLA, PETG and TPU where the application allows
  • CNC and CO2 laser for blanks, engraving, facing and templates; UV printing for legends, logos and serials
  • Assembly, kitting, packaging, direct-to-consumer and bulk B2B fulfillment from the same floor

Quality practices

  • Design validation and a first article before production release
  • Material selected for the environment the part lives in, with the manufacturer's data on file
  • Controlled geometry templates for product families and retained samples on new parts
