The laser is how a printed graphic gets its shape. Overlay outlines and windows, badge blanks, acrylic inserts, templates and sign shapes are cut on our CO2 laser from your DXF, then printed or assembled in the same shop. Engraving adds permanent marks to parts where ink is not enough.
What it does
- Cutting acrylic up to 1/4 in, hardboard, plywood, polycarbonate and polyester film, gasket and foam material, leather and cork
- Overlay and label profiling: outlines, display windows and cutouts on printed film and rigid overlays
- Blanks for badges, inserts, tags, signs and keytags in any outline
- Templates for drilling, routing, marking and placement
- Engraving on acrylic, wood, anodized and coated aluminum, laser-markable plastics and labels
With the other processes
A laser-cut acrylic insert gets UV printed and set into a 3D-printed part mid-print. A printed overlay gets its windows cut after printing so registration is exact. A badge blank is cut, printed and foil-accented without leaving the building. Metal marking and larger cutting are handled as part of the job, so you send one file and get one finished part.
Applications that use it
Badges and emblems, overlays, templates, logo inserts, encapsulated-insert parts, engraved plates.
