Applications › Prototypes, Fixtures & Production Aids
Every secondary operation starts with holding the part. We model nests from your part file so the part drops in one way, locates on the features that matter, and presents the surface for the operation. We use the same nests on our own flatbed and CNC, so a nest for printing your part is often already half designed.
Typical examples
- Inspection nests for gauging and CMM
- Printing and marking nests
- Machining and drilling fixtures
- Assembly nests with clamping
- Multi-part nests for batch operations
