Membrane Switch Overlays

The printed graphic layer for membrane switches and keypads, on polyester or polycarbonate, with embossed keys and clear windows, built to your switch drawing.

Applications › Interfaces & Control Graphics

The overlay is what the user sees and presses on a membrane switch. We print it on flexible polyester or polycarbonate film, reverse side, with white behind the opaque areas, clear or tinted windows for LEDs and displays, and embossed key areas where the drawing calls for them. Medical-grade, hardcoated washdown and UL-recognized films are available for devices that require them.

Typical examples

  • Keypad overlays for instruments and controllers
  • Replacement overlays for existing membrane switches
  • Backlit membrane overlays with selective white
  • Overlays for medical and laboratory device keypads
  • Appliance and commercial equipment control fascias
